Gymnastics Village Alumni…in college and beyond…
Zachary Werne is at Purdue University in Indiana and will major in mechanical engineering. He will also be continuing his gymnastics career by competing with Purdue’s club team. And we recently heard that Zach is part of the Purdue Crew Team! Way to go Zach!
Mitch Stallman is attending Penn State, majoring in Management with minors in International Business and Spanish. He is competing in club cross country, club cycling and club gymnastics. Sounds like he is keeping very busy!
Jacob Tilsley is attending the University of Illinois. He is majoring in Biochemistry and hopes pursue a career in the medical field. Jacob is currently working out with the club team and will be on the varsity team as soon as a roster spot comes open. Good luck Jacob!

Donnie Carper is at the University of Minnesota where he is currently undergoing rehab for his shoulder surgery. He will be competing for the Golden Gophers on their gymnastics team.

Marc Benoit is a Junior at Penn State University in State College, PA where he is majoring in mathematics. He is considering either systems analysis or applied math as his specialty. Marc will again be competing with on the Penn State Club Gymnastics team. Good luck Marc! Thanks for the help in the gym this summer!

Devan Cote wrapped up his gymnastics career in April after competing in the NCAA championships. This past summer he worked at the University Hospital in Ann Arbor. He is now back in New Hampshire, entering the interview phase of the medical school admissions process. He is hoping to work in a medical environment (possibly a lab) until he enrolls in med school around mid-August 2012
Matt Martin is a Senior at Temple in Philadelphia, PA. He has retired from competitive gymnastics but will continue on at Temple where he is majoring in Business. Good luck with everything Matt!
JJ Houghton is back at the gym and training hard! In December he will leave for his 2-year Mission trip. We are looking forward to hearing about it from time to time!
Ian Lassonde is in his 3rd year at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD.
